To put things in perspective... and to explain why so many people are upset with what ECW did.... Imagine that you had finally figured out a way to HACK the previewer's NG or HPs..... not just given the PW. You have 2 options to get info out. 1: You can start posting pictures etc or 2: can leak info out. Problem with option #1 is to start posting pictures of the HP or NG PROVES that you were where WTV thought it not possible for you to be.. (that wtv would automatically know because of the "logs" is self-serving crap. WTV has often been asleep at the wheel ). To choose option #1 may be a big ego boost but at the cost of putting wtv on the defensive... forcing them to review security and close, what is you, a useful security hole. Option 2 may be slower and less gratifying in the big ego department, but it leaves WTV guessing whether they just have a inside leak or whether someone hacked the program. Since the WTV desigend the program to be secure, the tendency will be to believe the simplist explanation: there was a leak. How this all applies to this situation, I will not say. But the principle is the same. ECW has done none of us a favor.
