he also gave away a highly sensitive technique that mattman had discovered. I had found that code worked where it did (well actually I was doing it in the search field) on my own. It might have been after MattMan had found it worked in stocks himself but I hadn't been old about it yet. Now, because of ECW, that technique has now spread past the original person it was given to and is known by at least 2 others... Well, I think that's good. and since information is the currancy of this subculture.... So that's why you hoarde the info. It makes you rich and others poor. Thanks for giving us some perspctive on your twisted views. He took a code that had been known for a long time (I believe KROQ found it) and put it in stocks. it was not as potentially damaging as what ECW got from. Yet he gave that away as well. And you had no problem using that "potentially dangeous" code against every person in this group didn't you? As for the issue of credit.... In many cases there is no clear originator of an idea since ideas often synergisticly build in groups as ideas are bounced back in forth.... I wrote to ECW at the time: "If you really think that you would have got to Killer at the time you did without a group effort... that getting to Killer was "your" exclusive discovery, then I think your respect for the very concept of the group and the people who are in it needs serious adjusting." You're right. Everybody who got into tricks during the original break-in deserves the info shouldn't they? And of course since a member of wtv-crew is the farthest back the tricks password can be traced, I guess they have a right to claim the info too? If they hadn't given out the password info very little of what we now know would have been possible. So I guess wtv-crew has a real gripe on their hands. using a critical IP list also supplied by matt..... No, the IP list was mine. It was the master IP list I used. Something none of you had access to yet. so much for "working" for his info. Yet ECW has falsely maintained the work was his alone. I've said many times. The technique WAS NOT mine. Just the discovery of the willies pages themselves. That is why I only gave out the willies pages and have refused to give the technique. You continue to attemp to skew the facts in your favor. And you the hard facts come back to slap you in the face. In other posts he accuses me of essentially being a parasite who never gives credit. No, you give credit in a great many cases. But in quite a few cases you falsly claim credit for other findings. because for a long time I both trusted and respected ECW. It was mutual. I respected you for the info you gave the group. Until I saw you had the idea in your head that you could (or should be alowed to) dictate what we did and that you were free to condemn our mistakes as tupidity while yours were easily dismissed. It seems all the lies and slander so far have been on your part. I'll let others decide what the facts say for themselves. I won't tell people how to think. You'll have to take responsibility for your own actions... as well as your own hypocracy. But won't hold my breath waiting for you to develop a conscience.. LOL!!! You're a funny bastard Bob. I take responsibitlity for my actions. I don't perpose to decide what other's actions should be though. If I make aa mistake, oh well! Shit happens. No one's perfect. BTW, did you ever tell this group that all info sent to you was subject to be given to anyone you deemed worthy of knowing it? And have you told those people that you supposedly "trust" that they are not allowed to do the same? I'll tell everyone now, if you ask me to keep it secret I will. No one will get it from me. If you don't then I will give it to anyone I feel is worthy of knowing it. And if I ever find something new to use that info for, I will give that back to you. And if I give you something and don't ask for it to be kept secret, feel free to do with it as you wish. All I ask is that you use your own, best judgement when doing so.
