Ecwfrk2 writes allegedly claiming I took credit from him: "The only one I can speak of is the one you stole from me. You claimed here that you had found the client:boota command. I disputed it." This is one of those technical hairsplitters only a someone desperate to conceal his own betrayal of group trust and his own lies would raise. Technically you "found" the URL fo the instruction page. This must have been some difficult feat given you were a previewer and only had to go to MadRabbit to get the URL. WOW! Technically I found on that page the code for the DOOM "on" switch. At the time I sent it out, you never said "oh, oh, I had it first!!". If you had you would have sent it to us. None of this is a big deal and I'm fully aware of its silliness.... even if you are desperately trying to build a mountian out of a molecule. Hmmm, what kind of person would resort to these pathetic tactic? My INSISTANCE that credit be given to real tricks and achievements is well known. To try and do the same for 1300 URLs is an impossible task. So..... lets consider what ECW ORIGINALLY accused me of.... and people can decided for themselves if you have "slightly" exagerated your case. "All you have ever been useful for is a fucking courier. You have *never* found anything useful. Although you have had no problem claiming credit for other's findings. All you do is pass on the stuff that talented, but mis-led people give to you to other talented people and then wait for them to tell you what they found using that info so you can then spread that around to other to make yourself seem smart.... People like MattMan, BONEHAM1, DB, speed, idiotic, kwegibo, KROQ, real-act, and the rest of you who do all the discovering so ulTRAX can put it up on his site and take the glory for it." After all your vicious, slanderous, accusations.... the best you can come up with is the fucking DOOM "on switch"? Even that is bogus. As for this DOOM code.... again you rewrite and distort the past. Why is that? If some of you will recall I posted in October a call for people to identify information they might want to trade with each other. I felt such an exchange would have been useful. I did this in part to shake up our own group (which I already said I believed needed more members). But because I believed in group decision making (hardly the trait of a "dictator") I posed the question to our group what did we have that we could trade that was not sensitive but would be seen as valuable. We ALL agreeded that the DOOM code was a good bet. NOTE: it was a group decision. (ya, ECW,.... this all sounds real sinister.) But while ECW hairsplits to death his non-existant case..... what was he doing when he first got to willies based entirely on OTHER people's work... then privately gave it (as he did other things belonging to the group pool) away WITHOUT consulting the group? I wrote at the time: ====================================== From: ulTRAX@webtv.net Date: Wed, Jan 6, 1999, 11:18am To: Ecwfrk2@webtv.net (The Mood Is About To Change) Cc: MattMan69@webtv.net Dead-Box@webtv.net, speed-exp@webtv.net Subject: Re: Killer Willie Give Away ECW wrote: "First, I found the Killer Willie pages and didn't feel I needed permission to decide who I could share them with." If it hasn't occured to you yet none of us have much exclusive claim to info that is heavily based on group work. You may have been first to get to Killer, but that was a small extension on Matt's finding Big Willie just minutes before and the fact that Matt brought back the IP list from TD last August. Matt's work was based, to what extent who knows, on my trying to get people to seriously speculate about what could be done with the IP list since the day I first saw that list in Tricks, and certainly in my October posts about TipTup's DNS/IP discovery where I kept pushing the issue of trying to explore the xxxxxxxxxxx system. I could go on with the threads and connections that led to Killer, but I suspect that others get the point. If you really think that you would have got to Killer at the time you did without a group effort... that getting to Killer was "your" exclusive discovery, then I think your respect for the very concept of the group and the people who are in it needs serious adjusting. ====================================== I think the record is pretty clear that ECW *can NOT be trusted with information *is dishonest when it suits him *willing to make false allegations with the specific intent of harming another or protecting a fragile ego. *level of emotional stability: status unknown And to think he worked for the IRS? Scary.
